This state of the art plant is located at the Taloja Industrial Area, near Mumbai, India.
The facility manufactures a range of catalysts including Platinum Group Metal (PGM) Catalysts, tailor made to suit specific customer requirements. The Taloja facility also has the capability to complete the entire Catalyst Cycle from initial catalyst supply through to recovery of PGMs from process residues.
Johnson Matthey's site in
Royston, Hertfordshire, UK, situated around 10 miles from Cambridge, covers
approximately 30 acres. Royston intakes mixed PGM solutions from the Brimsdown
site and PGM alloys, and in turn outputs metal sponges, refining intermediates
and PM products such as salts.
JM produces heterogeneous catalysts, homogeneous catalysts, and chiral catalysts. These products are primarily based on PGMs, and are used in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and a wide range of chemical intermediates. Johnson Matthey also manufactures chemicals that are used in diverse applications, including health care products, batteries, fuel cells, photographic materials, and specialized plating.
Johnson Matthey offers services in precious metal refining/marketing for metals, chemicals, catalysts, and its other fabricated products. Refining services include complete catalyst recycling and precious metal recovery.

JM West Deptford's principal activities include the manufacture of process catalysts and chemical compounds for pollution control systems, pharmaceutical compounds and specialty chemical applications as well as the refining, fabrication, and marketing of precious metals.
